Deliberations of the 3rd Omani Cyber Security Forum began at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).

The event is organized by the SQU Communication and Information Research Center, in partnership with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.

The forum included lectures delivered by some specialists from the SQU, the ministry, the German University of Technology and Ernst & Young Company.

The lectures touched on means of developing and strengthening the cybersecurity industry using Blockchain technology, insider risks of information security and the cybersecurity in real life, in addition to digital fraud, social engineering, open source methods, and information security.
