The University concluded its 25th Annual Day celebrations by honouring 241 distinguished members of its community, including academic, administrative, technical staff, researchers, and students, in recognition of their dedication, to encourage continued achievement and excellence. The ceremony was held under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Dr. Fahd bin Al Julanda Al Said, the Vice-Chancellor.
In his speech, Dr. Nasser bin Musabbah Al-Zeidi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Administrative and Financial Affairs, reviewed the University’s notable accomplishments across academic, administrative, and operational domains. These achievements reflect a commitment to both planning and execution, with statistics indicating an increase in labour market satisfaction with the University’s graduates. This improvement is attributed to initiatives such as increased training hours and the development of academic and administrative personnel.

Dr. Al-Zeidi also noted that the Omanisation rate has risen to approximately 45% in academic roles and around 96% in administrative and operational positions.
Furthermore, student and academic satisfaction with educational services has reached 66.2%.

In line with contemporary developments, the University has introduced new academic programmes, including a Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence and in Veterinary Medicine, along with several other initiatives and academic support services designed to ensure the quality of its graduates.
The University has also enhanced the efficiency of energy and water use, resulting in reduced consumption. This initiative is in collaboration with the Oman Centre for Net Zero and is aligned with the national direction for sustainability.
In the area of digital transformation, several services and procurement processes have been automated, including the development of a recruitment platform and a research management system.
