Launching Second Phase of Preparing the Institutional Accreditation File
The Quality Assurance Office (QAO) held a joint meeting on Thursday, 17 April 2025, to officially launch the second phase of preparing the University’s institutional accreditation file. The session brought together members of the Institutional Standards Assessment Accreditation Committee (ISAAC) and the standards writing teams, reflecting a collaborative effort at this crucial stage of the accreditation journey.
The event featured a series of focused sessions addressing essential aspects of the accreditation process. These included initiating work on the second draft of the institutional accreditation file and reviewing the status of Mandatory Materials (MMs) submitted by the University’s various units. The discussions also covered the next steps in the process, the mechanism for using the standards writing template, and the presentation of collected materials to guide the writing teams.
A highlight of the meeting was a showcase of the College of Engineering’s quality management approach, presented as a successful model for institutional practice. The sessions concluded with an open discussion forum, enabling participants to exchange ideas, align strategies, and reinforce cooperation across all teams involved in the accreditation process.
This meeting forms part of an ongoing series of activities led by the QAO, underscoring SQU’s continued commitment to excellence and full readiness for institutional accreditation.
