The 30th graduation ceremony of Sultan Qaboos University will be held on 11 and 25 November 2019 under the patronage of H.E. Mohammed bin Al Zubair, Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan for Economic Planning Affairs. The total number of students graduating this year from the nine colleges at SQU is 2922.

The number of graduates from each college is as follows: College of Agricultural & Marine Sciences 235; College of Arts & Social Sciences 590; College of Economics & Political Science 427; College of Education 419; College of Engineering 447; College of Law 203; College of Medicine & Health Sciences 153; College of Nursing 90; and, College of Science 358.

In the first ceremony, to be held on Monday, 11 November 2019, as many as 1283 graduates from the science colleges, namely, College of Agricultural & Marine Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Medicine, College of Nursing and College of Science will receive their degrees from the chief guest. In the second ceremony, that will take place on Monday, 25 November 2019, as many as 1639 graduates from the humanities colleges, namely College of Arts and Social Sciences, College of Economics & Political Science, College of Education and College of Law will receive their degrees.

The total figure of 2922 consists of 2383 students who secured bachelor’s degree, 383 master’s degree holders, 40 PhD graduates and 116 medial MD graduates.
