Mariam bint Saeed Al-Jabri, a PhD student in Educational Administration at the College of Education, participated in the 29th International Conference on CyberPsychology, CyberTherapy and Social Networking (CyPsy 29), recently held at the University of Lisbon in Portugal.

During the conference, Al-Jabri delivered an oral presentation of her research paper, which explored the dimensions and impacts of social media platforms on young people's intellectual awareness. Her presentation highlighted strategies for balancing the growing use of digital platforms with the promotion of trust and responsible digital citizenship.

The participation was further distinguished by the acceptance of the joint research paper authored by Al-Jabri and her supervisor, Dr. Khalaf bin Marhoon Al-Abri for publication in the international journal The Annual Review of Cybertherapy and Telemedicine (ARCTT). The paper was accepted following a rigorous peer-review process conducted by international experts.

This participation and academic achievement reflect the pioneering role of SQU in fostering knowledge-based innovation and strengthening the presence of Omani scholars on leading international scientific platforms.
