The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital organized a conference on medical care for premature infants.Held at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Madinat Al Irfan, the conference saw the participation of more than 200 doctors, physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals. It was aimed at raising awareness about the challenges posed to premature babies in terms of health complications, as well as early birth burdens borne by family, society and the health system.The conference discussed 9 major presentations by specialized doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers catering to new-born babies.
