The Quality Assurance Office at SQU organized an introductory workshop on Unit’s Performance Measurement Program (UPM) on February 7, 2019, presented by Dr. Ibrahim Al Harthy- Director of the Office. The workshop was attended by directors of the participated units; Personnel Affairs Department, Center for Community Service and Continuing Education, Center for Information Systems, Deanship of Postgraduate Studies, and nominated staff members to work on the project. The workshop included the definition of the program, which aims to measure the performance indicators of the units. And the definition of the Quality Assurance Criteria. However, a training program will be held on 25 to 27 of February, 2019. His Excellency Dr. Ali Al-Bimani, Vice Chancellor of the University will Launch the pilot phase of the program at the beginning of the session. Hence, to ensure the quality and excellence of the institutional performance of the university, the Quality Assurance Office seeks to cooperate with all units of the University to establish a unit performance measurement program, which includes awareness raising and training for tool development, data collection and analysis.
