The joint committee between Sultan Qaboos University and the Institute of Public Administration held its first meeting on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at SQU. The meeting was headed by Prof. Ali bin Huwaishal Al Shuaili, SQU Deputy Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Sayyid Zaki bin Hilal Al Busaidi, CEO of  the Institute of Public Administration and in the presence of committee members from both sides.

The Committee discussed a number of topics, which included reviewing the topics discussed at previous coordination meetings between the two sides. The Committee also discussed the national program on building national capacities in the evaluation and classification of the development projects. The Committee also addressed the training courses that will be implemented in cooperation with the Institute of Public Administration and the establishment of mechanisms to activate areas of cooperation between the two sides.

The formation of this joint committee aims to facilitate, enhance and develop the cooperation between two sides, exchange experiences and information, and joint efforts of common interest between Sultan Qaboos University and the Institute of Public Administration.
