Career Fair Opens 13 April with 37 Participating Institutions
Sultan Qaboos University will next week host the opening of the 2026 Career Fair on 13 April 2026. Organised by the Centre for Career Guidance, the three-day event will be held in the Grand Hall of the Cultural Centre under the patronage of H.E. Said bin Abdullah Al-Balushi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour for Human Resources Development.
Now in its twenty-sixth edition, the fair reinforces the Centre for Career Guidance’s role in promoting the University’s graduates and diverse academic programmes. It also serves as a vital link between the University and the labour market, strengthening partnerships while introducing participating organisations to the University’s academic offerings. The event further provides employers with the opportunity to assess the academic standards, skills and capabilities of SQU students and graduates.
The Centre extended invitations to a wide range of local and international institutions and companies, with 37 institutions from various sectors confirming their participation. The fair is expected to attract a large number of students and graduates, given its significance as a platform that enables direct engagement with employers, while showcasing the academic and professional potential of the University’s students and alumni.
