The Letter was signed on behalf of SQU by Professor Hussein bin Ali Al-Kharousi, Assistant Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Community Service, acting on behalf of Professor Salim bin Hamoud Al-Harthi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Community Service, and from Trifork SPC’s side Christian Hemmingsen, the Chief Executive Officer.
Trifork is an international innovation and technology company specialising in the development of secure and scalable digital platforms, advanced analytics, and applied AI solutions that support the modernisation of public and private sector organisations. Through this understanding, both parties recognise the mutual benefit of establishing a structured partnership that promotes innovation, knowledge exchange, and the practical application of emerging technologies within the University environment.
Under the Letter of Understanding, the two parties will cooperate within a non-binding framework designed to support knowledge sharing and joint initiatives in digital transformation, applied artificial intelligence, and innovation capacity building at SQU. The collaboration will begin with focused activities aimed at student engagement, digital capability development, and the exploration of practical innovation methodologies, with each initiative to be separately defined and mutually agreed in terms of scope, timeline, and responsibilities.
This collaboration reflects SQU’s ongoing commitment to fostering innovation, enhancing digital capabilities, and strengthening partnerships that contribute to academic excellence and community engagement in line with national development priorities.
