Sultan Qaboos University received Marat Gatin, Aide to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan and Deputy Chair of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia – Islamic World”, who visited the University with an accompanying delegation.

The delegation was received by His Highness Sayyid Dr. Fahd bin Al Julanda Al Said, the Vice-Chancellor, in the presence of a number of academics and officials at the University.

During the meeting, both sides discussed avenues for cooperation with the Strategic Vision Group “Russia - Islamic World”, as well as prospects for academic collaboration with Kazan Federal University. The discussions also explored opportunities for translating books and undertaking joint research projects of mutual interest, with a view to strengthening scholarly exchange and fostering long-term academic partnerships.

The visit reflects Sultan Qaboos University’s commitment to expanding its international cooperation and enhancing collaboration with academic and strategic institutions around the world.
