The College of Nursing, represented by the Adult Health and Critical Care Department, organised the 3rd Nursing Informatics Forum 2025 under the theme “From Academic Innovation to Clinical Implementation.” The forum was held under the patronage of Dr. Huda bint Salim Al-Noumani, Dean of the College, with support from Oman Liquefied Natural Gas (Oman LNG).

The forum aimed to promote digital transformation in healthcare by highlighting innovative technical projects developed by nursing students as part of the Nursing Informatics course. These initiatives reflect a collaborative approach that bridges academia, industry and government, while addressing real-world healthcare challenges in line with Oman Vision 2040.

During the forum, students presented a range of innovative digital health solutions designed to enhance clinical practice and healthcare delivery. The projects were assessed by a panel of academics and specialists, alongside a live voting process involving forum participants to identify the winning entries. The event also featured an exhibition showcasing student projects, as well as contributions from innovators and entrepreneurs who shared insights into translating academic ideas into practical healthcare applications.

The forum concluded with an awards ceremony, during which the winning projects received development support from Oman LNG to facilitate their implementation and ensure sustainable impact in real clinical settings.
