The forum aims to promote sustainable afforestation and enhance the development of green cover in Omani cities.

Several specialised entities participated in the forum, including United Integrated Laboratories, which presented its expertise in food analysis, plant health, and water quality; the Oman Botanic Garden, which shared insights on plant species and conservation; Muscat Municipality, which highlighted the guidelines for proper landscaping beyond residential areas; the Royal Court Affairs, which showcased its agricultural projects and vegetation research; and the Environment Authority, which emphasised its efforts in biodiversity protection and the promotion of urban greening. Oman Agricultural Development Company also presented innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture that support food security and economic growth.
