On Tuesday, 24 December 2019, Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al-Mahrooqi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Postgraduate Studies and Research at SQU received Kim Jin Soo, secretary-general of the Korea-Arab Society. The visit was aimed at exploring the possibility of cooperation and collaborative research between SQU and Korea-Arab Society in academic, educational and cultural fields.

The Korea-Arab Society (KAS) is a non-profit and an incorporated foundation, funded by Korean and Arab governments. The bilateral cooperation between Korean and 22 Arab countries will enhance mutual development in diverse areas economy and trade and arts, culture, sports, and academia.
