SQU and Vodafone Oman Sign Cooperation Programme

SQU has signed a cooperation programme with Oman Future Telecommunications company (Vodafone Oman) as part of its commitment to strengthening partnerships with the private sector to support education and research. This collaboration aims to enhance knowledge exchange, create training and research opportunities, and contribute to Oman’s digital transformation in line with the Oman Vision 2040.

The agreement was signed by His Highness Sayyid Dr. Fahd bin Al Julanda Al Said, the Vice Chancellor, and Eng. Badr bin Saud Al-Zidi, CEO of Vodafone Oman. Through this partnership, both institutions seek to develop national capabilities, foster innovation in telecommunications and technology, and provide students with real-world learning experiences that align with the rapid advancements in the sector.

This initiative underscores Vodafone Oman’s dedication to supporting local talent and contributing to Oman's sustainable development. By leveraging expertise and resources, the cooperation programme will play a key role in preparing students for the evolving digital economy, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in a competitive global landscape.
