To enhance economic and financial awareness, the 15th Financial Forum has commenced at SQU, organised by the Economics and Finance Group at the College of Economics and Political Science, the event is held under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Dr. Adham bin Turki Al Said, Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at the College of Economics and Political Science and Chairman of the Economic Committee at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The forum brings together a distinguished group of economic and academic figures, alongside a large number of students and finance and economics enthusiasts.

The forum features an interactive exhibition that takes visitors on an exploratory journey through various stations covering financial literacy, savings, financial institutions, investment tools, and financial technology (FinTech). A student competition is also being held within the exhibition, encouraging the development of innovative solutions to enhance financial efficiency and contribute to sectoral advancement.

In addition to its diverse activities, the forum focuses on several key objectives. It seeks to increase financial and economic awareness while engaging relevant institutions in fostering financial literacy. It also aims to enhance understanding of Oman's current and future economic landscape, highlight students' creative, innovative, and scientific talents, and develop and expand young people's knowledge and skills. Furthermore, the forum works towards empowering youth leadership and talent to contribute to national development, while also promoting a culture of saving and investment.

The event was attended by several notable figures, including His Highness Sayyid Dr. Fahd bin Al Julanda Al Said, the Vice-Chancellor; His Excellency Dr. Khamis bin Saif Al-Jabri, Chairman of the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, along with a distinguished group of academics and experts from the financial and economic sectors.

The 15th Financial Forum attracts hundreds of visitors each year, including students, academics, and representatives from both public and private institutions. This makes it a leading platform for promoting financial awareness and fostering innovation within the financial sector.
