On Sunday, 13 October 2019, Sultan Qaboos University and Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) signed a one-year strategic partnership and sponsorship agreement. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Ali bin Huwaishel Al-Shuaili, SQU’s Deputy Vice Chancellor for Administrative & Financial Affairs, and Eng. Sami bin Ahmed Al-Ghassani, Chief Operating Officer, Omantel. This agreement comes in support of the distinguished relations between SQU and public and private institutions and institutions in the country to support the wishes of these institutions to communicate with the university and contribute to its activities. The partnership is a continuation of the long-standing partnership between SQU and Omantel. The latter has been a strategic partner in the events organized by SQU’s Public Relations and Information Department.
