SQU, ‘inma’ Sign Cooperation Program

In order to enhance cooperation between the two sides to serve the SME sector, and to promote the concept of partnership between the government sector and the private sector, Sultan Qaboos University, College of Economics & Political Science and SME Development Fund ('inma') signed a cooperation program.

The cooperation program comes within the framework of exchange of scientific and practical experiences in the field of quality, training and research in accordance with the directives of His Majesty the Sultan, which aims to link the development projects in the Sultanate with society.

The program is part of the efforts to improve the educational process and entrepreneurship, to find out what is new and to keep up with the global developments in this regard. The two organizations seek to implement this vision and it has been coordinated between the two sides to benefit from their scientific and practical expertise in the field of quality, study plans, training and research.

The cooperation program was signed on 5 May 2019 by Prof. Amer Ali Al-Rawas, SQU’s Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs and Community Service, and Mr. Salah Bin Hilal Al Maawali, CEO of the SME Development Fund.
