On 22^nd April 2019, a group of students from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the College of Engineering at Sultan Qaboos University visited Oman Data Park as per the directions of Prof. Hadj Bourdoucen, Dean of the College, and under the supervision of Dr. Amir Abdulghani, Chair, Community Service Committee, ECE-SQU. Students were welcomed and given briefings on the services offered by the Data Park. Guided tour of Oman Data Park’s Data Center facilities and information sessions for providing technical knowhow were conducted. Students were very pleased with the exposure they got through this visit. Need to enhance the interaction between SQU and Oman Data Park through more interaction and knowledge sharing initiatives was highlighted during the discussions.
