Experts from around the world are gathering at Sultan Qaboos University to find innovative ways to teach English at the 19th Annual International Conference on English Language Education, to be held on 11 and 12 of April 2019. The theme of this year's conference is “Innovative Approaches to English Language Teaching and Learning.” organized by the Center for Preparatory Studies at the University.

The conference will address the following topics: the future of teaching English and learning, and the needs of students in scientific research in the 21st century. The conference will also address topics such as change of thought and self-motivation, and readings of the third millennium (21st century) and discuss the professional development programs for teachers.

In addition, a number of specialists in the field of teaching English are participating in public and private educational institutions, reviewing experiences and exchanging experiences.

The conference aims to keep abreast of the rapid change in the teaching and teaching of English language, explore innovative curricula and provide opportunities for those interested in this field. The conference will provide opportunities to interact with experienced and interested in education from countries such as the United States, Europe, Africa, Sharing their ideas and achievements in developing this field and exchanging their knowledge and cultures.
