A delegation of postgraduate students from two German universities visited SQU recently. Prof. Juergen Kubke of University of Hanover and Prof. Peter of Kiel University headed the student delegation consisting of 15 students from both universities. The visit lasted for 10 days during which the students visited the university facilities in addition to field trips. The visit comes within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between Sultan Qaboos University represented by the Earth Science Research Centre and Hanover University. A student delegation from Sultan University Qaboos had visited the University of Hanover in 2014 for geological training under the cooperation agreement signed between the two institutions.
