95 Students Attend Winter Program for School Students
As many as 95 school students from grades 10 and 11 are attending the first edition of the 2019 Winter Program, organized by the Center for Community Service and Continuing Education at SQU. The program aims at introducing students to university life and admission requirements and the necessary skills that enable students to join the appropriate specialization and future jobs in the era of the fourth industrial revolution and artificial intelligence.
During the program, the students will visit the nine colleges (medicine, health sciences, nursing, agriculture, marine science, engineering, science, education, law, social sciences and economics) at SQU. Dr. Zahran bin Salem Al-Sulati, Director of the Center for Community Service and Continuing Education at the University, stressed that this event comes within a package of activities and community services organized by the Center, which attracts school students in order to familiarize them with the university, colleges and specializations.
