SQU and Oman Oil Marketing Company have signed an investment agreement to set up an integrated fuel filling station on the campus. The agreement aims to serve all employees and students of the university through the establishment of a fuel station alongside a small commercial center to accommodate services of some international brand shops, a statement said.

The agreement in this regard was signed by H.E. Dr. Ali bin Saud Al Bimani, the Vice Chancellor of SQU and David Kalife, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Oil Marketing Company on Thursday, 20 December 2018.

The contract between SQU and Oman Oil Marketing Company is for 20 years. The company will develop the site and provide services offered by most of the fuel filling stations. The site of this station qualifies it to serve the community outside the university. Another cooperation will be through this contract to support student training, activities and academic support and research in the areas of specialization of this company.
