The Public Relations and Information Department at Sultan Qaboos University organized a series of events on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan under the name "Anwar Ramadan". The exhibition featured a collection of old photos and a number of Ramadan TV series and programs presented on television in the seventies and eighties of the last century in addition to advertising and animation programs.

The community exhibition was attended by Omani citizens and 13 Arab and foreign communities from Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Iran, Sudan, Russia, Algeria, Tunisia, Africa, India, Philippines and Malaysia. The exhibition also embodied the customs and traditions known to these communities and was opened at the Cultural Centre lobby in the presence of H.E. Dr. Ali bin Saud Al Bimani, the Vice Chancellor of the University.

This exhibition was organized as a part of the efforts of the Public Relations & Information Department to familiarize the University community with the various cultures and tradition and establish cultural links between employees and their families in the framework of educational activities and entertainment.
